Description : The museum consists of several sections: World of Eyes, Ophthalmic Optics, Materials and Tests of Glasses, History of Glasses, Industry of Glasses, Design and Culture of Glasses. In different exhibition areas, the relationship between eyes and glasses, the technology of glasses and the development history of glasses are introduced through pictures, objects and 3D animation. Shanghai Museum of Glasses also exhibits a number of precious glasses, including the tortoiseshell movable-joint straight-leg glasses made during the Reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty, ancient peepshows, and the time-honored Wu Liangcai octagonal glasses.
