• Description ： The museum was constructed by Donghua University, with guidance and support from Shanghai Science and Technology Committee and Changning District Government. Shanghai Museum of Textile and Costume is built based on Donghua University's former Textile History Museum and Costume Museum. At present, it is the only museum in China that comprehensively presents the history, culture, scientific and technological knowledge of Chinese textiles and costume. Its current floor space is over 6,700㎡. The exhibition area in Phase One is over 3,000㎡.
