Road closures announced for women\'s half marathon

A number of roads in Changning District will be closed on Sunday morning for the Shanghai International Women's Half Marathon, the district announced on Tuesday.

The race, starting from the No. 1 gate of Zhongshan Park and ending inside the park near its No. 3 gate, will be held between 6:15am and 10:30am.

Around the area of the starting point, Changning Road between Dingxi and Kaixuan roads will be closed in the direction of east to west from 6:15am to 7:40am.

The area of the ending point, Wanhangdu Road between Kaixuan and Huayang roads will be entirely closed from 6:30am to 10:30am.

Along the race, parts of Zunyi, Xingyi, Kele, Hami, Jinbang, Yingle, Suining, Beiyu and Wanhangdu roads will be closed during the entire race, while the remainder of the streets will be closed in one direction.

Meanwhile, Suining Road between Beidi Road and Tianshan Road W. which allows traffic only in one direction will allow traffic in both directions during the race.
