World Bank officials impressed by Shanghai Financial Court

Financial experts from the World Bank paid a visit to the Shanghai Financial Court on Saturday.

They praised the establishment of the court for its professionalism, international scope and application of artificial intelligence and said they would stay focused on its development.

Last month, the World Bank gave a strong thumbs-up to Shanghai’s progress in cutting red tape and introducing reforms to improve the business environment over the past year.

In a report released on October 31, it noted that China had climbed 32 places to rank 46 out of 190 countries and regions. The bank gave Shanghai a weighting of 55 percent and Beijing 45 percent.
